Hudson Valley Farm Fresh Food Grant Program
The Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, through a grant from the NoVo Foundation, is pleased to offer multi-year funding through the Hudson Valley Farm Fresh Food grant program in 2026 – 2028. This grant program is designed to distribute multi-year grant funds in amounts up to $20,000 a year for 3 years to nonprofit organizations in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam and Ulster counties. The focus of the program is to fund programs and organizations that work to increase access to local, farm fresh food for individuals who are considered food insecure.

Deadline: March 1, 2026
Total Funding Available:
$350,000 per year for 3 years. We anticipate all funds will be allocated for multi-year grants in this single application cycle
Ulster County Food Security Grant Program (Round 2)
In collaboration with Ulster County and in alignment with the Ulster County Food Security and Access Network (UCFSAN) Report findings, funding will focus on proposals that effectively address one or more of the following:
- address food insecurity;
- leverage existing resources and expand existing emergency food services;
- provide equipment or personnel to increase capacity to collect, store, distribute, and provide food to those in need;
- purchase food; and
- ensure sustainability and organizations addressing food insecurity in critical geographic areas where providers are limited.
