Last  month, we announced the launch of the Local Impact Fund for Tomorrow (LIFT)—a new initiative from the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley designed to deploy charitable capital in innovative, place-based ways that strengthen our region. LIFT begins with its first initiative: a pilot low-interest bridge loan program for nonprofits serving Dutchess, Ulster, and Putnam counties. This program is being implemented in partnership with Ulster Savings Bank, which is working with us to help make these loans possible. Read “The Leaf,” our monthly newsletter, here.
