A Breakfast Convening for Board Members, Executive Directors, and Development Directors

Even board members who feel uneasy about asking for money can contribute in meaningful ways. In this workshop, nonprofit consultant Susan J. Ragusa will coach board members, executive directors, and development directors on the AAA approach: Ambassador, Advocate, Asker. Participants will explore which role fits them best and learn strategies for making the biggest impact in that capacity. By the end of the session, you will leave with practical, actionable ideas to boost board engagement and drive fundraising success.

Takeaways

  • Reframe the culture of philanthropy.
  • Clarify why not all fundraising involves asking
  • Apply best practices for identifying new board members.
  • Establish clear and appropriate expectations for board members
