Putnam Covid-19 Response Fund Announces Third Round of Grants

Children of essential workers in the Carmel School District come together for safe learning and connection at Camp Herrlich. The camp received Putnam Covid-19 Response Fund support previously.
Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley is announcing the third round of emergency grants made through the Putnam Covid-19 Response Fund. Totaling $26,000, awards in this round are funding emergency feeding programs and supporting physical and mental health services.

“With appreciation for the community members who have contributed to date, we are pleased to distribute these grants,” said Nancy Rossi Brownell, Vice President of the organization’s efforts in Putnam. “As is our mission, the Foundations is bringing its unique partnerships and perspective together with the generosity of neighbors to make timely grants. More than ever, we are leveraging our relationships to uplift those impacted by Covid-19 in Putnam.”

In recognition of the good work these organizations are doing on behalf of the community, the Foundations is awarding support to: Brewster Community Food Pantry, CoveCare Center, Mental Health Association in Putnam County, Inc., Patterson Presbyterian Food Pantry, Putnam Valley Community Food Pantry, SPACE on Ryder Farm, and St. Johns the Evangelist Food Pantry.
