Community Foundations Promote Cristin McPeake and Aliza Krevolin

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley (CFHV) today announced that it has promoted Cristin McPeake to Director of Programs and Aliza Krevolin to Program and Finance Associate. These promotions come as the CFHV bid a fond farewell to the former Vice President of Programs, Jennifer Killian, who has recently joined the Millbrook-based Dyson Foundation as Program Officer.

Cristin McPeake, formerly Donor Relations Manager, has been promoted to Director of Programs. In her new position, she will monitor individual grant and scholarship funds and work directly with donors to help them achieve their philanthropic goals. She previously worked as Program Development and Improvement Coordinator for the Rock Solid Foundation in Austin, TX, and in quality improvement at The Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie. Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, McPeake earned her bachelor’s degree from Emerson College in Boston, MA.

Aliza Krevolin, MSW, formerly Development Assistant, has been promoted to Program and Finance Associate. In her new position, she will manage the Foundations’ database, process grants and scholarships, and support the CFO. Krevolin previously worked at Generations Incorporated in Boston, MA, as the Active Aging Program Manager. She has conducted policy research and grassroots advocacy at Charles Group Consulting and assisted in strategic planning and leadership development at Combined Jewish Philanthropies. Krevolin holds a master’s degree in social work from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University.

“It is a pleasure to work with the very talented staff of the Community Foundations, and I am thrilled to be able to promote from within,” said March S. Gallagher, Esq., President and Chief Executive Officer of the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley. “Cristin McPeake was a natural choice to promote to Director of Programs, as she held the role on a temporary basis last year. Aliza Krevolin has distinguished herself as a very capable team member who is ready for more responsibility. While we will miss having Jennifer Killian on our staff, we look forward to continuing our close and collegial partnership with the Dyson Foundation to strengthen the region.”
