Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley is pleased to announce the ‘Leadership Profile’ developed to identify the next President & CEO of the organization. Coming off of its 50th anniversary year, the regional grantmaker is pursuing a new leader to inspire and promote philanthropy.
“After a year of celebrating the past, the Foundations is poised to turn toward the future,” said Interim President & CEO Nevill Smythe. Smythe was appointed as Interim in July 2019, after the previous President & CEO, March Gallagher, stepped down to pursue the office of Ulster County Comptroller. “The organization is in a strong position thanks to its generous supporters, dedicated volunteers, and diligent staff. With a new leader in place, there will be no limit to what the organization can achieve on behalf of the Hudson Valley.”
To identify its next leader, the Foundations hired BoardWalk Consulting, an Executive Search Firm based in Atlanta, GA. BoardWalk has created a ‘Leadership Profile’ that represents what the 50-year-old organization hopes to achieve as it prepares for a dynamic future. “The Hudson Valley is changing. To meet the urgent and emerging opportunities of those changes, we are seeking someone who will guide our work of being an inspiring and integral resource that reflects our community.”
