Dear Friend of the Community Foundations,
Thank you for being part of the Community Foundations’ success. It has been my distinct fortune for almost 10 years to carry out the mission of the Foundations. Because you are an important member of our Community Foundations family, I wanted to be sure you heard from me – before you read it in the press - that I will be leaving my position at the Foundations effective May 31, 2015.
The Board of Directors of the Dyson Foundation has chosen me to serve as their next President and CEO. I am honored to have been selected, and look forward to continuing my work with the Community Foundations, albeit in a different role.
A decade ago, it was my privilege to have been chosen through a national search to lead the Community Foundations; thanks to your generosity and commitment, together we have achieved enormous success in those 10 years.
The Board is embarking on a search to find the next President and CEO who will lead the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley to a new level of growth and positive community impact. The Search Committee, as well as the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees are committed to keeping our partners apprised of their search. You can look forward to hearing from them in the coming months on their progress.
Thank you again for all you do to support the Community Foundations and our communities. It is the care and compassion that I witness every day from people like you that remains my greatest motivation.
Best regards always,
