Community Foundations Establishes Putnam Covid-19 Response Fund

To continue our work of responding today and investing in tomorrow, Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley is establishing the Putnam Covid-19 Response Fund. With your support, this fund will provide immediate critical resources to nonprofit partners addressing basic needs in Putnam County. To begin, grants will be used to purchase and distribute food and other essentials to those impacted by the outbreak of Covid-19 in our community.

As an evolving public health crisis, we anticipate the needs of our neighbors will change over time. Accordingly, the second phase of this effort will include local nonprofits sharing the status of their work to provide a more nuanced assessment of emerging priorities in the coming weeks and months. The Putnam Covid-19 Response Fund, which is also being supported by the Dyson Foundation and United Way of Westchester & Putnam, will help mitigate the local effects of this global pandemic.

Your support can save lives today – and improve the quality of life for a better tomorrow. Please give here.
