Michael P. Murphy Public Service Graduate Scholarship
Established by the Dyson Foundation in honor of its friend and board member Michael P. Murphy and supported by his family friends and colleagues the Michael P. Murphy Public Service Scholarship awards an annual scholarship to a resident of Dutchess County who is currently enrolled in or planning to matriculate at an accredited graduate school with the intent to pursue a career in government.

Application Details:With your completed Online Application you will also need to attach the following:
– Essay (up to one page or 500 words) describing your career aspirations and your interest in serving in local, state or federal government.
– Most recent college transcript.
– Two current letters of recommendation, one from a professor and one from a public-service related employer who are familiar with your skills and abilities. These letters must have been written within the last six months.
