50 Years of Responding Today, Investing in Tomorrow

In 1969 a group of Poughkeepsie civic leaders shared a vision of “a foundation, organized and supported by community people, to reflect the distinctive needs of their community.” These leaders created what was then known as the Poughkeepsie Area Fund.

2019 marks 50 years since the founding of what is now the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley. We are proud stewards of your generous contributions and the legacy created by our founders.
Join our celebration by reminiscing on these milestonesmaking a gift to respond today and invest in tomorrow or by attending our special anniversary Garden Party, Sunday, September 22nd, at the Mashomack Preserve in Pine Plains.
