The Claudia Ann Seaman Awards For Young Writers & The CAS Hudson Valley Poetry Award

The CAS Awards for Young Writers are Open to: All students in grades 9 – 12

Submission:  Each participant may submit a total of three poems, essays, or stories (1500 word limit for fiction and creative nonfiction), or any combination of the three.

Deadline:  Entries must be received by May 31st
Cash Awards:

$200 award for each genre

$200 for the H.V. Poetry award

How to Submit:  

Submit your work directly to Polyphony H.S. at www.polyphonylit.org/submit.  

Each entry must contain the following information:
• Student name, address, phone number, email address, year of HS graduation (Class of _______);
• School name, address, phone number;
• Name and email address of student’s English or writing teacher
