Financial Information

As a public charity, the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley is fully transparent in its practices and welcomes feedback. We have a responsibility to our donors, benefactors, and broader community which we take very seriously. Accordingly, our federal tax return and audited financial statements are posted on our website and are on file with the New York State Attorney General.

On June 30, 1996, the Foundation's endowment was $5.4 million. As of May 2017, our assets have grown to $60 million, a true testament to the extraordinary spirit of giving in the Hudson Valley region.

Fees

All earnings are posted to funds net of internal investment fees. The current internal investment fees range from 30-35 basis points.

The annual administrative fee for the Community Foundation is generally 1% of the fund balance. Fees are assessed quarterly at the rate of one-quarter of the applicable fee due. Fees vary based on type of fund established. For more information, please Contact Us
