Community Foundation of Dutchess County

Your first resource for everything charitable®

The Community Foundation of Dutchess County is an affiliate of the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, but initially grew out of The Area Fund, which began in 1969.

The Foundation administers $49 million in assets, represented through 470 funds.

Guided by a local board of community leaders, monies raised for Dutchess County stay in Dutchess County. The board's goals are to grow philanthropy in Dutchess County, raise money, establish new endowed funds and make grants to enrich the quality of life for Dutchess County residents.
